Tim has been a featured presenter at the Richmond International and Sunscreen Film Festivals; Oklahoma Arts Institute; Emerson College Screenwriting Program; Scottsdale Community College and for numerous private screenwriting groups. His produced credits include Lara Croft:\u00a0 Tomb Raider, the family comedy Firehouse Dog; and the TV series Unnatural History.\u00a0\u00a0 Michael won a Saturn Award for co-writing (with Mike Werb) the John Woo-directed action thriller Face\/Off, which the New York Times deemed \u201cone of the best 1000 movies ever made.\u201d<\/p>\n

After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, Michael enrolled in UCLA\u2019s renowned film school, where he specialized in screenwriting.\u00a0 While earning his MFA, Michael won the Jack Nicholson Award and the William Morris Award for screenwriting excellence.<\/p>\n

While attending UCLA, Michael met fellow student Mike Werb.\u00a0 \u00a0They subsequently formed a writing partnership with credits including Face\/Off, Lara Croft:\u00a0 Tomb Raider, Tarzan, Firehouse Dog, and the production polish on the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, Collateral Damage.\u00a0\u00a0 Michael also served as Supervising Producer on Mike Werb\u2019s TV drama Unnatural History for Cartoon Network.<\/p>\n

Since the mid-90s, Michael has been a visiting instructor for the Screenwriting MFA program at UCLA where he teaches the famed 434 screenwriting workshop.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 His students have gone on to write, direct and\/or produce such movies and television series as The Bad Batch, Patriot, Bojack Horseman, The Punisher and many more.\u00a0 For his contributions to the program\u2019s students, UCLA honored him with the Lew and Pamela Hunter\/Jonathan and Janice Zakin Chair in Screenwriting.<\/p>\n

Currently, Michael is attached to write and produce the TV adaptation of the graphic novel series \u201cRazor\u201d for Jeff Most Productions.<\/p>\n

He got his big break when he was picked as a writing fellow in the Disney\/ABC writing program. Chuck wrote for several seasons on the NBC hit series <\/span>Heroes. <\/span><\/i>He’s also continued his work in comic books, with characters ranging from the <\/span>Powerpuff Girls<\/span><\/i> to the <\/span>X-Men<\/span><\/i> to <\/span>Superman<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0 His animation work includes Ben 10 and Dexter\u2019s Laboratory. Skye was named a Top 25 Screenwriter to Watch in 2020 by the International Screenwriters Association. She received the Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship in Screenwriting at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. She is also a fellow of the Sundance Screenwriters Intensive Program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Skye’s lived multiple lives, including as an Advertising Project Manager, Sports App Product Manager, and Volunteer Dog Walker. She loves to read suspense novels and watch true crime TV, both of which have contributed to her growing insomnia and irrational fear of basements.
